This new file is just over 1.7GB and replaces the old, cracked one. To download this update, please click here: www.x-plane11scen... New in Version 11.12.1: Now when the user is inside the sim and when they click "Save", they will be taken to X-Plane's desktop where they can place it where ever they want (can also double click the file to open it directly in Scenery Creator). The user will not need an internet connection after clicking "Save". This allows users to save and share their scenery anywhere via email if desired. The scenery covers the entire world with the exception of some ocean areas, some extremely high mountains, and very remote areas. Some coverage outside the mainland is omitted due to high data usage for non-visible areas. Detailed coverage is provided for South American countries including: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru and Suriname. The following features are included:

The scenery is provided in three resolutions, for download via OpenSceneryX or directly from the Laminar Research website. GeoTIFF, PNG tiles and full resolution bmp files can be downloaded through X-Plane.org. The files are updated every Friday night (around 2 AM UTC).

On April 24, 2006, Laminar Research released both a demo and the full version of scenery covering the entire United States. The scenery features one city (Liberty City) and some smaller settlements like some towns and a larger city (Mountaineer), as well as freeways, railroads, some small airports and several landmarks. A new version was released with improved textures and new objects on August 30, 2006.

Contains new HD textures and autogen update to X-Plane 10 compatibility. The scenery includes runway markings for JFK International Airport. Due to the creators' rights issues there are no buildings or any other objects included in the scenery except static aircraft parked at the airport's terminals.
